BECKHAM OFF

From The Telegraph:

‘David Beckham foolishly earned himself a red card, his third in Spanish football, as Real Madrid were defeated 2-1 by Valencia at the Santiago Bernabeu last night.

Already down to 10 men after Thomas Gravesen was shown a direct red card for a wild lunge, Madrid were trailing 2-1 with three minutes remaining when referee Arturo Dauden Ibanez blew for a foul by Raul on Madrid's right touchline.

Beckham reacted furiously, throwing up his right arm in disgust and appearing to say something to the referee. When Dauden Ibanez brought out a yellow card, Beckham walked away applauding sarcastically, leaving him little choice but to immediately produce a second yellow and send the England captain off.’
