Build Manchester United's Iconic Old Trafford Stadium With This 3,898 Piece LEGO Set

Calling all fans of Manchester United. Calling all fans of construction-based fun. Calling all fans of nostalgic, childhood whimsy. We have some big news. You can now buy Old Trafford...provided you are willing to build it yourself out of LEGO.

Released on Thursday on the company's online store, the set is available for a mere £249.99 - pretty good value for the Theatre of Dreams if you ask us! To put its price into some sort of context, Old Trafford costs less than LEGO's versions of the Taj Mahal, an Imperial Star Destroyer from Star Wars and even the make-your-own Disney Castle.

Just in case you were wondering if it's okay to buy this as an adult, on the website it clearly shows two friends in their 30s putting it together - proving beyond all doubt that this is definitely, 100% NOT a toy but a serious design project.

Including just shy of 4,000 (woah, that's a lot!) pieces, the set contains all the hallmarks you would expect from a replica Old Trafford.

The banner dedicated to Sir Alex Ferguson draped over the stand named after him? Check.

The Munich Air Disaster tribute clock? Check.

Statues of Matt Busby, Sir Bobby Charlton, George Best and Denis Law? I mean, they're all amorphous block-figures, but I guess that still counts?

Just in case you weren't excited enough for this glorious invention, LEGO have also included an brilliantly produced hype video for the product, featuring some of the immortal moments that have occurred inside the stadium.

Ronaldo's free kick, Cantona's chip and Rooney's overhead are all included, before the strapline is revealed: 'BRINGING OLD TRAFFORD TO YOU.'

We love it. We love everything about it. The stands, the pitch, the team bus - everything. What a shame that Christmas has already come and gone.
