From The Guardian:

"I'm a United fan and I don't think I'd ever want him to leave. And I'm not sure whether it would mean I'd play even if he did. [Ole Gunnar] Solskjaer has gone in that position and been incredible as well. Anyway, I'm sure David Beckham will be at Manchester United next season and for a few more seasons yet."

Deep down I think maybe it's time to get away and start playing regular football but I've still got two years on my contract at United, so it's up to them," he says. "I will have to see what happens.

"If they see fit to keep me, I won't complain because it's the biggest club in the world. But, if the manager says it's time for me to move on, then it would be great to find somewhere to play regular football. I've enjoyed it so much that I want to keep doing it."
