"I will enjoy the summer a lot more this year,'' said Beckham. ``It has been an immense season but it will be nice to get away and get a rest. At the beginning of the season some people were saying we would win nothing and we have come out of it as champions of England. We love it.''

"Winning eight titles in 11 seasons is an amazing tribute to the club and the fans. This one is the sweetest of the six I have won. We have always spoken about our team spirit being good. We have stuck together this season through thick and thin and it has paid off.''
