He warned: "Rio is a great player and will have a huge influence. But one
player does not make a team.

"Us winning the title at Old Trafford was the best moment of the year for me
and now people are saying United can't drop as many points as they did last
season. But I don't see why it shouldn't happen again.

"A lot of teams have improved in the past year or so. We've got a stronger
squad, Liverpool have and so do a number of other sides.

"Maybe United did have a bad season, but we lost a few at home as well yet
still picked up 87 points.

And on Europe

"But the squad is bigger and stronger now and we have learned about the
Champions League over the last couple of seasons. We're getting closer
every year and this time we will be trying to do the Treble."
