The 35-year-old admits he wants to clinch another short-term deal in Europe in a bid to win back his England place.

German sides Bayern Munich and Wolfsburg have both been linked after Beckham ruled out a stint at AC Milan and suggested he would only come back to the Barclays Premier League to play for Manchester United.

But the Galaxy responded in a statement: 'We are not aware that David is looking to be loaned to any other team and we are fully expecting he reports with the rest of his Galaxy team-mates in late January for the upcoming season.'

Beckham is going into the final season of his contract with LA but hasn't ruled out extending his deal.

The MLS side may be reluctant to agree another loan for their star after the achilles injury he suffered at Milan earlier this year, which ruled Beckham out of the World Cup and much of the American season.
