Diogo Dalot: Man Utd players adapting well to Erik ten Hag's demands

Diogo Dalot has revealed that the Manchester United squad is adapting well to the demands of new manager Erik ten Hag.

The former Ajax coach took charge of his first two games at Man Utd in the last week, with the team impressing en route to a 4-1 win over Melbourne Victory and a 4-0 victory over arch-rivals Liverpool.

Speaking about how he and his teammates have adapted to Ten Hag's training regime and tactics, Dalot said he believes the squad are working well under their new manager.

"I really like the dynamic that he shows, not just in training but in general. Very demanding, pays a lot of attention to detail, which is good, and small details that that can make a difference in the long perspective," he said, as quoted by the Irish Independent.

"I think we players are adapting really well to it and obviously we want to keep going.

"We know that it’s going to be a long season, a different season from pretty much every season that we had in the past few years, so we want to we want to build something.

"We want to build a team together with players, together with staff, build something very good inside in between us and then do our job on the pitch and win games."

United's pre-season preparations continue on Tuesday when they face Crystal Palace's touring squad in Melbourne.
