DOES BRIAN CLOUGH KNOW SOMETHING WE DON'T?

Speaking on Radio 5 Live, the former Forest manager has said
that he feels that Martin O’Neil would be the best choice to
replace Fergie. However he also seems to feel that Sir Alex
might not have that long left:

"Sir Alex has announced - or the club's announced - that
he's going to be there practically until he dies. But Martin
will be like good wine. If he's got to wait another five or
six years for the job then it won't do him any harm at all.

"He'll add experience every week he stays at Celtic and,
like good wine, he'll be maturing. When he walks into Old
Trafford, as we hope he does, then he will be near-enough
the finished article."

It’s a fair bet that most people would expect Fergie to live
a little longer than that!
