Dutch Goal Master says youngster is one of the best he's seen

Manchester United striker Robin van Persie has admitted himself an ardent admirer of Adnan Januzaj saying he is one of the finest young players he has ever seen.

The teenager has been a revelation with his composed attitude, attacking directness and penetrative ability in stark contrast to Uniteds lacklustre start to the new season. He has sparked interest from Europes biggest clubs before he signed his new United contract, and has been the subject of international eligibility battles with no fewer than three countries looking for his commitment.

Januzaj has remained a pillar of calm in this sea of chaos preferring to work hard and concentrate on his performances for United.  This has prompted the Dutch Goal Master to claim that the teenager is one of the most exciting talents around.

"Over the years I've seen so many young players, and I can honestly say that of all the young players I've seen he is right up there in the top one or two," Van Persie told the club's official website.

"He's a great player and I'm a great fan of his. I thought earlier in pre-season that he has something special.

"He will give Manchester United a great bunch of goals and great games. He's a special player."

RVP also seems pretty sure that the praise will not go to the Belgian's head, as he is a measured and thoughtful individual, and would consider the effect of publicity on Januzaj's development.
