Manchester United have taken the unusual step - for them - of advertising their vacancy for a commercial director in the national press, following the departure of Andy Anson.
Some in the football industry see that as a sure sign that finding somebody to work for the Glazers won't be easy, whilst in the past such a prestigious job at United would be filled without the need to advertise.
