Darren Fletcher has vowed to score more goals for the team if he's allowed to play on the right.

"I am making a conscious effort to score more goals," he said.

"A lot depends on where I am asked to play because if you are the holding midfield player, you don't get much chance to get forward.

"But if I am picked on the right-hand side, I do try to get more shots on target, which means I should get more goals."

He then summed up much of his general play by describing his goal against Boro.

"I don't really know what I was doing in there in the first place," he admitted.

"But I have been getting into the box quite a bit and feel a bit unfortunate not to have scored more often than I have."
