FLETCHER HAS A FAN

Paul Scholes quite rightly got many of the plaudits for his performance against Liverpool on Sunday. He was a joy to watch.

But I thought Darren Fletcher, who has struggled to nail down his place in the first team, deserved to be man of the match.

Fletcher was brilliant against Liverpool, not only tackling ferociously but distributing the ball with great vision and accuracy.

I like Fletcher's style, too. There's nothing flash or cocky about him and he's refused to be discouraged when criticism has come his way.
