"The knee is much better. I had surgery three-and-a-half weeks ago, so I've managed to restart training this week. I'm hoping to be back for the game with Liverpool next week but Arsenal on Boxing Day might be a more realistic target.
"It's been massively frustrating having to sit it out. After all, I'm a footballer and playing football is my job so I've been fed up. I've still had plenty to do to make sure I get back as soon as possible. I've been at the training ground having treatment most days and having ice packs on the knee. I've also been doing all I can to keep fit."
