GET WELL SOON

Roy Keane will be travelling to Sunderland for this weekends game and not
having a clean up operation on his knee (or hip, depending on who you
believe). Fergie dismissed the recent rumours but hasn't ruled one out down the line (perhaps if an FA ban emerges!).

Paul Scholes will not feature in the Sunderland match after twisting his ankle.
He's expected to be out for two weeks and will probably also miss England's
friendly match with Portugal. Nicky Butt has a toe injury and has visited a
specialist while Quinton Fortune is nursing his foot.

In defence Gary Neville could be back in two or three weeks and Wes Brown
will be out until around November. Oh and don't forget Barthez has a hip
injury.

It doesn't make for pretty reading but Fergie doesn't seem to be too bothered

"We have had bad times with injuries before,''

"In 1997 we were right down to the bare bones but that is why you have a
strong player pool.

"It happens to everyone, you just don't tend to notice it until it happens to
you.''
