Malcolm Glazer appears to be building his Manchester United soccer empire on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean, possibly securing the services of the franchise's most popular player in the modern era.

International celebrity David Beckham is reportedly part of the Glazers' move to buy into the Los Angeles Galaxy stateside soccer franchise, a year and a half after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers owner's $1.4 billion leveraged buyout of Man United.
