Is Saja on his way to Old Trafford?
Fabien Barthez's eratic displays this season have reportedly prompted Sir Alex Ferguson to look for a replacement keeper and according to Rafael Savino, San Lorenzo vice president, United are negotiating a deal to take him to Old Trafford.

Arsenal have also been linked with the goalkeeper in recent days but Savino told Planetfootball.com that United went "to see him after watching videos".

Savino went on to add "The opening negotiations have finished. But an offer has still not come to us. I believe the representative left with enough approval with the performance of Saja".

It is thought that Sir Alex first became interested in him when he played for Argentina against Wales at the Millennium Stadium. Savino also claims that Bourissia Dortmund are interested in another of their players, Lucas Pusineri.

Meanwhile the goalkeeper Saja told Planetfootball.com "I have two dreams: One is to play in Europe, the other is to go to the World Cup. A transfer would be brilliant because goalkeepers are not highly rated".

Closer to home, twenty-year-old reserve team striker Danny Webber has joined Watfors on loan until the end of the season.
