"I don't know what the key is to getting consistency," said Keegan. "We've tried everything from setting up differently before a game to the way we train, but it's been difficult."

"When you're winning, everything's fine and you leave it all the way it is. When you lose a game and try and analyse what went wrong, it's very hard to put your finger on it.

"There are two ways to have the biggest building in town. You can either build your own or knock someone else's down.

"We've knocked Bolton's down today and that pushes them a little further away from us. But we have to make sure we do the same against the other teams around us."
