Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard is understood to be working with super agent Mino Raiola, amid rumours that he could be heading for the exit door at Old Trafford.
Lingard has struggled to live up to expectations in recent seasons and failed to register either a goal or an assist in the Premier League in 2019. Having been unable to hold down a permanent place in the starting lineup, rumours have emerged that the Englishman may be sold.
Amid all the speculation, the Daily Mail note that Lingard has now linked up with Raiola, and United are well aware that this partnership could harm their chances of keeping Lingard at the club.
The Red Devils have a frosty relationship with Raiola (to say the least), and the agent recently admitted that he would do all he could to prevent his clients from joining United as he felt they were 'out of touch' and would ruin even the greatest player
However, it does seem as though Lingard could be unsettled at the club. He is no longer a part of Gareth Southgate's England squad, and given his reduced importance to United, he looks unlikely to win that place back any time soon.
His contract is set to expire in 2021, and United do have the option to extend that by a further year, but his new link-up with Raiola may make it hard for Lingard to remain at the club.
