Juventus confirm signing of Paul Pogba on free transfer

Juventus have confirmed that they have re-signed Paul Pogba from Manchester United on a free transfer.

The Frenchman left Old Trafford at the end of June following around two years of contract stand-offs, heading from Manchester to Turin for the second time in his career.

90min previously reported that the likes of PSG, Real Madrid and even Manchester City were interested in Pogba. But it was announced by Juventus on Monday that they have sealed his signature once again, days after he was pictured completing a medical at their training base.

At the end of a lengthy and candid statement, Juventus said: "Paul is back in Turin. He left as a boy and returns as a man and a champion, but there is one thing that has not changed - the desire to write unforgettable pages of club history together once more. Pogba is back and we couldn’t be happier."

Pogba will take the number 10 shirt which he wore at the back end of his first spell at Juventus.
