KEANE – THIS TITLE COULD BE THE BEST YET

Although Keano is still not taking anything for granted, he
agrees with Fergie that if we do win the league this year
then it could be the best Championship win he’s been
involved in.

Speaking on MUTV he said:

"Deep down we're all thinking that this would be the nicest
one to win. If you go back a few months, after the City game
at Maine Road, we were looking down and out. But we've
bounced back and it's great to be in with a chance.

"Four or five weeks ago Arsenal would have been favourites,
and now we are a lot of peoples' favourites. But until
you've got the Premiership medal in your hand it's all to
play for."

Despite a lot of pundits writing United off earlier in the
season, Keane insists that the players didn’t lose the
belief that they could catch Arsenal.

"We knew that if could keep the pressure on Arsenal then
anything could happen. People were saying great things about
them but they're only human.”

However Roy is refusing to get carried away and acknowledges
that the League is far from won:

“The pressure is on us to beat Charlton on Saturday now.
They came here last season and kept a clean sheet so they'll
be confident of getting a result. But if we'd been offered
the chance to win our last two games to win the League, we'd
have bitten their hands off. If you want to win
Championships then you have to beat Charlton at home. I'm
sure the atmosphere will be great and all the players will
be ready for it."
