KINDERGARTEN COP

The Beckhams have hired a "kindergarten cop" to guard son Brooklyn at his new nursery school - to the annoyance of other parents.

The minder is keeping a watchful eye on the three-year-old son of the couple, who were the target of an alleged £5million kidnap plot last month.

But parents of other children at the exclusive preparatory school in Cheshire are angry.

One couple told the Daily Mirror: "It's like a zoo. It's appalling. Brooklyn has a right to education, but would you want your child in there? It's just unfair."

But a source close to the Beckhams said last night: "This choice was not made lightly - but after two kidnap threats, they can't afford to take any chances.

"Victoria and David feel they have little option. And the guard does not sit in the class, he monitors the school from outside."

Headmaster Nigel Johnson said the security staff were as much to allay parents' fears, as to protect the son of footballer David, 27, and wife, Posh Spice.

He admitted he did consider writing to other parents, but he said: "No one sits in class with the child and no one stands at the gates. The arrangements are not in any way intrusive."

And yet still no one has been charged with any kidnap/conspiracy regarding the Beckhams. What a load of NoTW bollocks.
