Leave me alone

Reports from Italy are suggesting it was United and not Chelsea who made a 'monster' offer for Milan's Alexandre Pato. If true the bid was useless as interested clubs have been told not to bother pursuing the young. Adriano 'Fester' Galliani yesterday revealed.

"The only offer that has arrived at our club was a monster offer from England for Alexandre Pato. I continue to believe that there isn't a player in the world that is as strong as him at his age.

"Pato will have his contract extension and we shall go from there," he said. "I don't think there are any other 20-year-olds in the world as strong as he is. In any case, no one should worry because Pato has a contract until 30 June, 2012.

Pato, who unfortunately talks about himself in the third person said:

"Pato will be at Milan always,"

"I am part of Milan and the club decides on my life. I am happy at Milan and I am here to work for Milan.

"The past year and a half for me has been very great, I want to help Milan win the Champions League."
