Man Utd predicted lineup vs Arsenal - Premier League

Man Utd will be eager to shake off the disappointment of their 4-0 thrashing at the hands of Liverpool when they visit Arsenal in the Premier League.

United's recent woes against their historic rivals continued as a brace from Mohamed Salah condemned Ralf Rangnick's side to their fourth defeat in their last seven games.

Defeat in north London this weekend would deal a considerable blow to United's hopes of playing Champions League football next season, although victory would very much lift the mood around Old Trafford.

Here's how Man Utd could shape up.

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

David De Gea (GK) - United's situation would be particularly more grim were it not for the Spaniard's heroics.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka (RB) - Could be deployed solely to curb the influence of Arsenal's dangerous left hand side.

Victor Lindelof (CB) - Has deputised well in the absence of Varane in periods this season.

Harry Maguire (CB) - His decision making continues to baffle supporters and pundits alike this season.

Alex Telles (LB) - Likely to return to the starting lineup after United's move to a back five in midweek seen him miss out.

2. Midfielders

Scott McTominay (CM) - Never used in midweek despite returning from injury, which hints that he was being rested ahead of this weekend.

Nemanja Matic (CM) - United's midfield problems are such that they are relying on a veteran midfielder who is set to depart at the end of the season.

Bruno Fernandes (AM) - His frustration was palpable towards the end of the defeat to Liverpool in midweek, lashing out at Alexander-Arnold at one point.

3. Forwards

Marcus Rashford (ST) - Still doubts over Cristiano Ronaldo's involvement, with Rashford having deputised in midweek.

Jadon Sancho (LW) - Reduced to a place on the bench in midweek, meaning he should be fresh for the trip to north London.
