Man Utd predicted lineup vs Norwich - Premier League

Manchester United entertain strugglers Norwich at Old Trafford on Saturday as Ralf Rangnick's side look to get their top four bid back on track.

Last weekend's limp defeat to Everton left United six points adrift of the Champions League places, having won just once in their previous seven games in all competitions.

The United faithful will hope imminent news of Erik ten Hag's appointment will provide a shot in the arm for the players.

Here's how United could line up.

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

David De Gea (GK) - Has spared United's blushes on several ocassions this season, although his ability on the ball leaves much to be desired.

Diogo Dalot (RB) - The Portuguese could be given the nod over Aaron Wan-Bissaka with United likely to dominate the ball.

Victor Lindelof (CB) - The Swede will be keen to impress with Raphael Varane nursing an injury problem.

Harry Maguire (CB) - Has always seemed to be in the wrong place at the wrong time this season.

Alex Telles (LB) - The jury is still out on the former Porto man, with Luke Shaw's injury proving a headache for Rangnick.

2. Midfielders

Nemanja Matic (CM) - Looked off the pace at Goodison Park last weekend, underlining why it's about time United move him on.

Paul Pogba (CM) - Likely to come into midfield alongside Matic with Scott McTominay and Fred both injury doubts.

Bruno Fernandes (AM) - Penned a new long-term deal at Old Trafford recently and is likely to be central to the rebuild at Man Utd.

3. Forwards

Jadon Sancho (RW) - Looks like one of the few United players who have benefitted from Rangnick's appointment.

Cristiano Ronaldo (ST) - Smashing performance at Goodison Park last weekend, if we're referring to the poor boy's mobile phone after the game.

Marcus Rashford (LW) - His confidence appears shot and the next United boss has a big job on his hands to restore Rashford to his old self.
