Man Utd Target Bruno Fernandes 'Storms Off Pitch' After Braga Beat Sporting

Manchester United target Bruno Fernandes stormed off the pitch and pushed a camera out of his face following Sporting CP's 2-1 loss to Braga in the semi-finals of the Taça da Liga this week.

Fernandes has been consistently linked with United this month, though as it stands United have been unable to agree a fee with Sporting for a player they so desperately need.

The game was a fiery affair to say the list - a whopping four red cards were dished out. Former Everton and Crystal Palace man Yannick Bolasie was sent off after the hour mark, while three more red cards were brandished in injury time following a 90th minute winner from Paulinho.

Sporting would end the game with eight men.

After the game, Bruno was evidently furious, and stormed off the pitch without acknowledging the fans. He also proceeded to shove a camera man who was beside him as he entered the tunnel.

United fans may read into this as him being frustrated that a move to Old Trafford hasn't yet materialised, but conceding a 90th minute goal which stops your team reaching a cup final can't have helped, to be honest.

Following the Red Devils' humiliating defeat at home to Burnley on Wednesday evening, the club may be forced to accelerate a potential deal. United looked toothless for 90 minutes, and failed to create any chances of note against a resilient defence.

With the pressure continuing to mount on under-fire boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, United will now return to FA Cup action this weekend against either Watford or Tranmere Rovers. Their opponents will be decided when the two sides take on each other on in a replay on Thursday evening.
