Mino Raiola Stirs the Paul Pogba Pot Once More With (Another) Juventus Return Hint

Mino Raiola has claimed Paul Pogba wouldn't mind a return to Juventus this summer, saying Italy is 'like home' for the wantaway Manchester United star.

Pogba has been at the centre of a tediously slow-burning transfer saga dating back more than 18 months now, but there were few rumblings of a move in January and - instead - chat of a summer move is back on the agenda.

Speculation surrounding his future has been amplified by his continued injury-enforced absence, and many have suggested that the arrival of Bruno Fernandes and the creativity he brings well-and-truly spells the end of his second spell at Old Trafford.

Having endured a frustrating four years since returning to United from Juve in 2016, he is thought to be keen to call time and take on a new challenge at club level. It seems, however, as if we may have to wait that little bit longer for a satisfying conclusion to proceedings.

That's because, while Mino Raiola was typically keen to fan the flames of a prospective Juve return, the super agent did admit that it isn't likely to come until after this summer's Euros, where Pogba is expected to join world champions France for a crack at another major trophy.

“Italy is like home for Paul," Raiola said, as quoted by Goal. "He would not mind going back to Juve but we will see what will happen after the Euros.

"Paul wants to play at the best level but he can’t escape by Manchester United if they are in a difficult situation."

The Guardian, meanwhile, state that Pogba is actively looking for a way out of Old Trafford, but an asking price of around €100m (£83m) will make a move away difficult. The report claims that Juventus and Real Madrid do have him firmly on their respective radars, but both clubs consider United's asking price too steep.

Though it seems the relationship between player and club are startlingly amicable considering the circumstances, Pogba is believed to have told his United teammates that he wants to move, and with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer facing a substantial summer rebuild, the club's hand may be forced in order to raise funds.

Jude Bellingham, Moussa Dembele, Jack Grealish and Jadon Sancho are just a smattering of the names who have been linked over the last week or so, though they look to be facing stiff competition from Liverpool on the latter.
