Louis Saha's return has been put back after he picked up a hamstring injury.

Balsa wood man:

"I have had so many injuries since I joined United that I need to make sure everything is exactly right before I start playing for the first team again.”

Carlos Queiroz:

"Louis is unfortunately out of the game. On Monday, he complained of some pain in the muscle. He is going for a scan so we won't risk him against Barnet."

Barnet’s Paul Fairclough:

“One of the quirky things we have done is train at our stadium with the crowd noise from the United-Tottenham game piped through the tannoy. It made it very difficult for the players to communicate. But they got used to it.

“Those sort of things get into the sub-conscious and they will be drawn out when required. People sometimes say they are treating ties such as this like any other game but that is absolute nonsense. It is not every week you play Manchester United which is why we have had extra preparation to make sure the players are totally comfortable with the situation they are going into.

“Without a doubt, this is the pinnacle of my career - a monumental occasion for me. My players have had an incredible journey over the last 14 months in gaining promotion and having some magnificent victories on our way to this tie. We have not been lucky to get here, we have thoroughly deserved this through our wins in the previous rounds.

“It is a proud moment for every one of my players and the whole town is looking forward to this game - in fact, the whole of Hertfordshire is looking forward to it. The dream is to get a victory. We are going to Old Trafford - we are prepared to entertain, we are prepared to enjoy the occasion - and we are going to try and carve out some kind of result.

“At Stevenage I played three up front against Newcastle but I have got a different set of players here with different strengths, and we are playing a completely different team. We met Newcastle at what I felt what was a good time, they were at a fairly low point. This is different. We will still have an attacking approach to the game but we will be organised and determined on top of that.”
