United have appointed Eric Steele has their new goalkeeping coach.

Steele, who has coached at Manchester City, Aston Villa and most recently at Blackburn Rovers, will take over the role made vacant by Tony Coton's to resign from the post because of recurring injury problems at the end of last season.
