Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted that the club are on the lookout for top class signings this winter to try and improve.
The Red Devils slumped to a hugely disappointing 2-0 loss to Burnley on Wednesday evening. Despite boasting over 70% of the possession, United were unable to prevent the visitors from picking up their first win at Old Trafford for 58 years.

Having lost both Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford to injuries, the team have struggled to perform at the level expected of them, and Solskjaer confessed (via Sky Sports News) that it is up to him to find a way to help his side improve.
"I'm responsible for what is happening on the pitch, we're looking to strengthen, we need to strengthen. We know that," he admitted.
"We took the decision to let some players go as we needed to start afresh with a clear sight on the target in front of us which is a certain type of player. We know we need to get quality in and numbers in.
"We are working to improve and get players in. Hopefully, we can get something over the line. These players are stretched, and I've got no complaints on any of them - they give everything they've got."
United missed the chance to move three points behind Chelsea in the race for the top four. They struggled to create any real opportunities in front of goal, but Solskjaer claimed that performances like this one are to be expected of a young squad at times.
"It was disappointing," he said. "Lately, we've played better in these types of games and dominated. Today we didn't get the first goal and that took a lot of belief out of us.
"I'm in charge, so it's down to me to get these boys going. On the pitch we've got a few leaders there and there's young players experiencing these kind of expectations. It's a difficult period. It's a hard period for them.
"They've only had 10-12 games some of them. Brandon (Williams) has been fantastic, Aaron (Wan-Bissaka) has been fantastic. We expect a lot of them but sometimes you understand these performances."
