"Somebody didn't want us to win (semi final) and Milan went on to beat Ajax 4-0 in the final.
"I still feel English sides don't get a fair crack of the whip when they go abroad so we will have to wait and see what happens.
"For me, it's the toughest draw United could have got. Milan are an exceptional side with the likes of Shevchenko, Kaka and Seedorf but they won't relish playing Manchester United either."
Umberto Gandini, Milan director
"It will be a tough game because they're a great team.
"But it will be nice to go back to Old Trafford where we won the Champions League in 2003 and try to make another good memory there.
"However, the first reaction is they're a great team, one of the biggest in Europe, if not the world."
Fergie:
"I had a feeling we were going to get AC Milan.
"They have had a fantastic spell under Carlo Ancelotti's influence and are a very experienced team, one of the most experienced in Europe.
"We have never played against AC Milan while I've been manager but if you look back over the years to our matches against Juventus in particular, we have enjoyed some of the greatest moments of all in Europe against Italian opposition and we are really looking forward to it."
