Park Desires To Stay At United

Park has established himself as a key member of the United squad in his six years at the club but it has been reported that Sir Alex Ferguson would listen to offers for the Korean midfielder this summer.

Ferguson has already allowed long-serving duo Wes Brown and John O'Shea to link up with Sunderland, and there are likely to be further departures.

Park, though, has no desire to be one of those.

"There's no truth at all that I would leave United - I want to stay here and I have no reason to leave," the 30-year-old told the Sunday Mirror.

"I would like to stay here for life, of course - why not? It's the best club in the world.

"I remember Guus Hiddink (his boss at PSV) said I wouldn't play many games if I went to Manchester United, but he wanted me to stay at PSV at the time.

"I met Guus this summer and he said he was proud of me and what I have achieved at United."
