Paul Pogba Shares Hilarious Post-Surgery Video - But He's High on Painkillers

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba underwent surgery on his ankle injury on Monday, and he was polite enough to let fans know that everything went okay.

The Frenchman has missed the majority of this season because of the issue, but the hope is that this surgery - and the three or four weeks extra on the sidelines - will finally bring his struggles to an end.

To keep fans updated, Pogba took to Instagram to give fans an update on his health... and his haircut... and his patient number... and pretty much everything else which he noticed because he was absolutely out of his mind on painkillers.

"I don't even know if I'm high or if I'm sober. Well, I don't look sober," is one of his first lines, which should tell you everything about where this update video is going.

"I'm still alive. That's good news."

Yeah, that is good news.

He can't even stop himself from asking for advice about a new haircut. He tries to put the phone down, but just gets lost in his own reflection and pleads with fans to send him tips for a good hairdresser.

Something tells me Pogba probably already knows someone who can cut his hair, but alright then.

After the operation, he starts a fresh video with the line 'After operationnnnnnn' - said with a hilariously out-of-it smile on his face. At this point, you can tell that the painkillers have really kicked in.

He starts to give an actual update, but then gets distracted by all the numbers on his hospital wristband.

'17 37 996. Man! Yeaaaaaah! Yeahhhhhh' is his patient number, if you were wondering.

He eventually admits that he has no idea where he is, what has happened, what country he is in or what he has even said to the camera. Is he is Manchester? Paris? Guinea? Dubai? That's all part of the fun.

It looks like the surgery went pretty well, and Pogba really looks like he enjoyed the whole ordeal.
