Phil: We're sorry for letting fans down

Manchester United's Phil Neville has made a public apology to the Old Trafford faithful for letting them down by allowing Arsenal to win the Premiership.

No silverware will be coming to Old Trafford this year and the fact that Arsenal claimed the title on our own ground makes it even harder to accept.

"We let our fans down by the fact that they won it at Old Trafford and that was the one reason why we didn't want them to win it here," said Neville.

"Our fans were cheering us right to the end and they have done that all season.

"I'm just sorry we've not won anything for them this season."
