PSG enter running for Paul Pogba & consider Eduardo Camavinga transfer

Paris Saint-Germain could throw a spanner in the works for Manchester United and Juventus as they consider moves for both Paul Pogba and Eduardo Camavinga.

However, it seems likely PSG will only be able to afford one of the France midfielders this summer unless they raise a significant sum through player sales.

The former Ligue 1 champions have been hard at work ever since yielding their title to Lille and have done some impressive business in the transfer market. They have already added Georginio Wijnaldum on a free transfer, while deals for Gianluigi Donnarumma and Achraf Hakimi are expected to be announced in the near future.

And it looks as if they aren't done there either, as RMC Sport claim that talks are 'ongoing' between Pogba's representatives and PSG. It's claimed that Pogba is 'more and more open' to a move back to his native France, which comes as bad news for Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri, who has prioritised a move to bring the 28-year-old back to Turin.

Reports in France suggest that PSG are also closely monitoring Rennes starlet Camavinga, and that's where it gets a little bit messy. 90min recently learned that United are considering Camavinga as a long-term replacement for Pogba, but now it seems unlikely they will sign him this summer unless funds are raised through Pogba's departure.

Should Juventus win the race for Pogba, then that would open up a straight shootout between United and PSG for Camavinga, who has already made his debut for France despite being just 18 years old.

United, however, remain torn on whether or not to sell Pogba this summer. Some at the club are keen to cash in now to negate the potential embarrassment of losing him on a free transfer for the second time when his contract expires, while others see him as an indispensable part of their title challenge next season.
