The father of Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Raúl Jiménez has revealed that the Mexican is flattered to be linked with big-money transfers to Manchester United and Juventus.
The Serie A giants are understood to be set to rival United for Jiménez's signature this summer, with both sides keen to bolster their respective attacking lines.
Speaking to Medio Tiempo, Jiménez's father, who is also called Raúl Jiménez, confessed that the rumours are a reward for his son's impressive work with Wolves, and his focus is on ending the season even stronger.
“Raul has always said so, it’s something very cool (to hear clubs like United and Juventus are keen),” he said.
“He’s very happy at his club, hopefully getting into positions for Champions League and Europa League at the moment. Always for him, all of that will be very gratifying, very cool to hear those comments.”

Raúl Jiménez Sr went on to insist that they have had no contact with any potential suitors and these stories are nothing but rumours right now.
“Right now is the time of rumours, God willing the league hopefully resumes next month and that’s where we are right now. The rest, there is nothing. He’s only commented on what he sees that they publish, but nothing at the moment.
“Later if there is something different, it will be seen. But now, yes, they are mere speculation and rumours.”
Juventus' interest in Jiménez only hit the headlines recently. As the story goes, manager Maurizio Sarri is ready to part ways with the ageing Gonzalo Higuaín, who earns a huge salary and managed just five league goals before Serie A was postponed.
However, they will have to fend off interest from United, who are also on the lookout for more firepower in attack. Odion Ighalo was brought in on loan to offer some support in January, but United obviously need someone around on a permanent basis.
It has been reported that Wolves would be open to selling Jiménez this summer, despite the fact that the Mexican is a core part of Nuno Espírito Santo's European hopefuls. Given he remains under contract until 2023, Wolves will likely only entertain offers of well over the £34m that they paid to sign him permanently last summer.
