Ralf Rangnick has dismissed suggestions that failing to qualify for next season's Champions League would affect Manchester United's summer recruitment.
United need a minor miracle to finish in the Premier League's top four this season. They are currently six points behind Arsenal in the final Champions League spot and the Gunners also boast a game in hand.
As 90min reported last week, United are eager to bring in several already-identified targets in the transfer window as they look to rebuild the squad under new manager Erik ten Hag.
Speaking before his side's Premier League meeting with Chelsea, Rangnick insisted that failure to qualify for the Champions League would not affect the club's ability to attract the best players at the end of the season.
"Of course, it would be better if we played Champions League next season but this also affects other clubs, it's not only a problem only Manchester United has," Rangnick said.
"The renewal of the contract of Bruno showed it is possible this club is an attractive club, with a new manager, a new approach, in the way he wants to play, this is still a massively interesting club.

There are several players that United have already identified as potential signings in the summer. 90min understands that the club are interested in West Brom stopper and former academy player Sam Johnstone, as well as longer-term targets Pau Torres and Declan Rice.
