Marseille chairman Pape Diouf has said that United target Franck Ribery is not for sale.

'Our interest is to keep Franck Ribery for another season and I've told that to (Lyon president) Jean-Michel Aulas but I know he's stubborn and will keep trying,' Diouf told Marseille's website.

"Manchester United are also interested but they have shown much more courtesy and delicacy. (Ed. That makes a change)

"Manchester United's representatives have told us they could be interested in the player.

"I gave them the same answer and told them he was not transferable.

"It means that Franck Ribery will stay with l'OM next season."

It's widely reported that United offered £9 million for the player.
