ROBBO THROWS DOWN CHALLENGE TO VERON

Bryan Robson believes that Veron has to start performing well but explains
the difficulties Seba has had in The Premiership. The Sun:

"Seba has to stamp his authority on games this season, take them by the
scruff of the neck and dominate things. Everyone at United feels he is capable
of doing that. But now is the time for him actually to do it."

A footballing culture shock

"I do believe Italian football is totally different to the way the English game is
played. They defend only in their final third of the field and then try to break
out. In Italy, Seba used to get more time, because people used to back off.
Here, they play a more high-tempo game and try to press people constantly."

"It does take time for a South American to settle. I found that with Juninho,
who for the first six months was not the same player he was in his second
season. Once he settled in, he was fantastic. This is now the time for Seba to
prove he is top-class as well."

"He is a central midfield player and part of his job is to defend. He is going to
have to take that on board and bring it into his game to get respect in this
league. He tries to tackle, but obviously has a weakness there. Even so, he
needs to bring it in."
