Roger was a former treasurer of Shareholders United Against Murdoch and committee member of Shareholders United. A Cantona nutcase and United fanatic Roger’s commitment to the Red cause never dimmed.
This man of great humility and good humour was dogged in his pursuit of the dream that one day supporters could actually have some influence over their own football club.
He was a gentle giant of a man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him but especially by his son Oliver and partner Joan.
