SIGNINGS TO BE MADE

Despite a number of youngsters being given their chance during United's
injury problems it looks as the Cuddly Pete could be reaching back into his
pocket for the cheque book this week. United are set to meet Rennes officials
today to sort out a deal for Escude while the press have linked Boca
youngster Nicolas Bordino with a switch to OT.
After Friday's game Fergie said:
"We could maybe do something by Monday. We are very close to one or two
things, but time is running out,"
However there might be a new keeper aswell
"We are assessing the transfer deadline because of the Barthez situation,"
