SUMMER SWANSONG

Silvestre:

"I think the ones that are here have got that motivation that is why they're still here.

"They still believe they can achieve something great for the country. They're going to fight for their lives also because it's going to be their last World Cup so they want to achieve something with the young players who have joined the team recently.

"I don't think the media put us in that situation [named as favourites]. We accept that if we can be in peace to be ready and perform well, it's good.

"I think England are going to be one of the most dangerous teams in the World Cup to win the title - even if they're struggling up front.

"It's true they need goalscorers and it's going to be difficult without Wayne [Rooney] but they're going to manage to qualify and I hope he's going to join England later."

Saha:

"I think it is going to be a very good World Cup for us.

"We have players with experience and young players who try to make their way so it's a good combination for success. So hopefully it's going to be a happy summer."
