United are also reportedly ready to swoop for RICARDO RODRIGUEZ, but the Daily Express claims Arsenal are also interested in the Wolfsburg defender.
Mourinho, though, could face a battle to keep goalkeeper DAVID DE GEA, with The Sun reporting that Real Madrid are ready to make another move for the 25-year-old.
The Daily Star says that Chelsea are ready to make a £20million bid for Roma defender ANTONIO RUDIGER, with a five-year contract being prepared.
Liverpool are believed to be in discussions over a £4million move for Anderlecht teenager SAMUEL BASTIEN, according to the Daily Mail.
