should buy David James:
"From what I've seen, Barthez doesn't seem to command his
penalty area in the way Schmeichel used to and that has led
at times to a breakdown in communications between himself
and his defenders. Sir Alex, I'm willing to bet, would like
nothing better than to sign a young Schmeichel but I don't
believe that Friedel fits into that category. But David
James is in the Schmeichel mould. He has got the same
physical attributes and the same command of the penalty area
and If I was Alex and looking for a new `keeper, James would
be my choice."
