VAN DER SAR HAPPY TO STAY

Edwin Van der Sar has admitted he would like to stay at United for at least another two years.

"I don't know how long I will continue but it should be at least another two years," he said.

"That is the aim and we will see what happens after that.

"I am enjoying myself in Manchester. Things are going well and I am happy, so there is no reason to think about anything else."

Winning games helps win the league. Genius.

"The more you win in the beginning, the more chance there is of being top, which is where we want to be," Van der Sar continued.

"It also means there is less impact when you eventually lose.

"It was a great boost to us when we heard Chelsea had lost the other night but we have not played many matches yet and there is still a long, long way to go."

With the transfer deadline drawing ever closer, it looks increasingly likely Ferguson will not be making any more additions to his squad.
