Will he ever play for United again?
Juan Sebastian Veron's appears not to have future at Manchester United if newspaper reports are to believed. Veron has reportedly flown back to Rome with his family, vowing never to play for the club again.

Allegedly there was a huge dressing room bust-up after Tuesday's defeat to Leverkusen. It has been reported that five United players layed into Veron, accusing him of United's failure to pick up silverware this season with his below average displays. The bust-up is said to have continued at the airport.

An unnamed close friend of Veron told The Mirror: "He was prepared to stay at United but this bust-up is the final straw and he will not be coming back," the newspaper quoted a close friend of Veron as saying."

"Sebastian is fed up of being blamed for everything and he is extremely angry at the treatment he has received at the hands of some United players."

"He has made it clear to the club that it would be best for all concerned if they can agree a fee with Lazio and secure his return to Rome."

Veron has been linked with a return to Lazio, the club he left for £28.1 million to join United last summer, throughout the season although both United and Veron himself have always denied the rumour.

Lazio president Sergio Cragnotti is keen to resign the Argentinian ace. Roberto Manchini, who is expected to be named Lazio boss shortly, also reportedly wants him.

Alex Ferguson has allegedly been given just £20 million to spend this summer. That may well not be enough for Fergie to rebuild a squad that looks like it will not win a single trophy. If he was to sell Veron the money would be available to spend big on the somewhat dodgy defence.

It is not known if Veron will be in Manchester on Wednesday for United's potentially crunch clash with Arsenal.
