Ferguson has revealed the Rio Ferdinand may be available for Saturday's game against Spurs. Gary Neville, Fabio and Wes Brown are all definitely in contention to feature, but John O'Shea is a major doubt after sustaining a calf injury on international duty.

Ferguson is satisfied with his injury situation, however, admitting that: "we're better off than we have been for months," in terms of defensive options.
