Apparently a Turkish player called Beckham’s sexuality into
question last night. Speaking to the Evening Standard, David
said:

"There was some kicking and pinching going on and someone
even questioned my sexuality,

"Rio Ferdinand was pinched on the arm in an effort to make
him react but at the end of the day they were upset because
they had lost the game.

"They've got a lot of players who get involved in situations
but I thought we kept our calm well. It will probably be hot
out there when we play in Turkey but hopefully it will be
calm because it's just a football match."
