West Ham 'Contact' Alexis Sanchez's Agent With Inter Ready to Ditch Man Utd Loanee

West Ham have apparently contacted Alexis Sánchez's agent over a possible move for the Chile international once the transfer window opens.

The 31-year-old has spent the 2019/20 season on loan with Antonio Conte's Inter, where despite a bright start he's gone on to make just 15 appearances across all competitions.

The Serie A giants are set against turning Sánchez's loan move into a permanent one, but FC Inter News report there are clubs who would be interested in signing the forward once he returns to his parent club Manchester United.

The Red Devils understandably want to shift Sánchez off their wage bill ahead of the new season and FcIN's report names West Ham as a club who have already been in contact with the Chilean's agent over a possible move.

The Irons have come under heavy criticism for having more money than sense in recent transfer windows, so even though a move for Sánchez wouldn't be completely out of character, it still makes little sense that West Ham would be interested - let alone how they could afford his wages.

FcIN also states there are several unnamed Bundesliga clubs who are considering a move for Sánchez, even going so far to state they've been in contact with his agent Fernando Felicevich too, but that's a claim which is even more far fetched that links with West Ham.

Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are the only two clubs who would stand any chance of affording Sánchez - although even that's a push - but neither side will make such a drastic U-turn over their transfer policies to sign an overpaid and underachieving attacker.

Even with the extra money floating around at clubs like RB Leipzig and Hertha BSC, unless Sánchez takes a pay cut of at least 75%, there isn't a club in Germany who would entertain the prospect of signing the Chile international this summer.
