WIGAN FANCY THEIR CHANCES

Wigan's Graham Kavanagh thinks United's light weight midfield may prove the best chance of Wigan winning on Sunday.

"Roy was the heartbeat of the United team," Kavanagh said. "He made them tick, but he's not there now and I can't be sad about that because we want to win on Sunday.

"They've coped well without him and done well in some games but when you are missing a player of his quality, it is going to affect you. From our point of view, we've got to take every advantage that we can.

"Paul Scholes is out - that's two huge players missing - and Alan Smith at the weekend, that was dreadful. But we've got to take every positive we can and hopefully turn it in our favour."
