'YOU CAN'T TURN FORM ON AND OFF LIKE A TAP'

"It's been a strange season for stuff like suspensions and little injuries here and there, and we haven't managed to get up much momentum and put up a challenge to Arsenal.

"There are a lot of people who have been in and out of the team and that is a bit unsettling. Towards the end of last season the team hardly changed and we went on a great run and managed to win the league, this year we've not really had a settled team.

"For one reason or another, we haven't been consistent enough. We were saying earlier in the season that we weren't playing very well but hopefully by February and March we would start to go on a good run, and yet for some reason it just never materialised.

"We need to get some form together going into the cup final and we want to finish second as well if we can. That will give us a bit of confidence going to Cardiff. That is what we are hopeful of doing but we know Chelsea are going to be difficult, as are Aston Villa as well in the last game.

"We don't want the gap behind Arsenal to be too big.

"They have already won the league and we want to win our remaining games and get as close to them as we can

"You can't just turn it on when it is the cup final. You need to be going into it with two or three wins behind you and playing well, and if we are not doing that then the FA Cup final could be a struggle."
